To the south Bai Lan Bay (also called Bai Lan Beach) is separated by a headland from the remaining part of the west coast. The southern part of the Bai Lan Bay which we introduce on this page is separated in 3 small bays. Most parts of the beaches are quite rocky so Bai Lan Bay is only suitable for swimming at certain areas.     On the rocks between the northern and the middle bay of Bay Lan Bay   The northern bay of Bai Lan Beach   The village Baan Bai Lan is directly by the road and consists of a few houses, which serve either as restaurants, shops, gas stations, bars or Internet-Cafés. Due to the increasing tourism more and more bungalow resorts were built, either at the sea or along the road. Arrival & Departure: Bai Lan Bay can be reached from the piers in approximately 1 hour by taxi. If you have advanced bookings you should tell the taxi driver the name of the resort or the hotel, otherwise you can get the driver to stop anywhere you want by knocking on the car-body. The departure times of the taxis to Dan-Kao-Pier are subject to seasonal change, so check in advance at your resort or in a travel agency.
